The establishment is a school that offers general and vocational education. The AEV is public, it brings together 7 schools, 6 kindergartens, and primary schools, and a college that offers a classicalcurriculum and vEr. The AEV has 300 teachers and 400 students from s to 18 years old. Located r the suburbs of Lisbon, the population is composed of middle-class families and (mainly) disadvantaged and has social and different economic. Part of the population comes from immigration (Africa, Europe, and Brazil). Initially, many students from small towns did not have an opening at international and participated in the college's international activities. Later, the school developed international partnerships. International cooperation and the training of teachers and students are now a priority that allows all stakeholders to become aware of the European reality, and the evolution of methods and ideas.

The motivation of students to become actors of their knowledge and training is very important for our school group. Teachers and staff cooperate with the administration and the students to carry out the project. decide on the dates for the

activities, which tasks, and which programming as well as for the general organization of responsibilities. The teachers will be the driving force behind the project and will try to train the partners as best as possible (either by informal observation activities during meetings or by exchanging information on different platforms). For our school group, even if there is a formal coordinator, the school administration will ensure that the projects are addressed to the school and will decide on the local coordinator according to the personal profile.
